Onboarding, verification, and self roles

Onboarding uses Message Builder plus the existing CollabOS Discord role system.

Welcome messages

/setup-welcome can enable or disable welcome messages, choose the channel, use a saved WELCOME template, or save quick message content.

Verification

/setup-verify can:

• enable or disable verification
• choose the verification channel
• use a saved VERIFICATION template
• save quick verification message content
• choose the Verified role
• set a minimum Discord account age

/verify starts the configured verification challenge for the member.

Verification sessions expire and successful verification grants the configured role through the Discord role workflow.

Autoroles

/setup-autorole add

Adds a role to the onboarding autorole configuration.

/setup-autorole remove

Removes an onboarding autorole.

/setup-autorole list

Lists configured onboarding autoroles.

Quarantined or Guard-failed joins do not receive normal onboarding autoroles.

Self-role panels

A role panel is configured in CollabOS and posted with:

/setup-roles

The command accepts the saved panel and target channel. Member role changes use the existing CollabOS Discord role-management layer rather than a second independent role store.

Rules, FAQ, and official links

/setup-rules

Posts a saved RULES template or quick message.

/setup-faq

Posts a saved FAQ template or quick message.

/setup-official-links

Posts a saved OFFICIAL_LINKS template or quick message.

These setup commands are intentionally customer-controlled. One community can use completely different wording, branding, links, and role choices from another community.
