Discord analytics overview

Discord Analytics helps workspaces understand activity inside a connected Discord community.

It gives teams a clear view of who is active, who is inactive, how much members are posting, which X / Twitter links are being shared, and how community activity changes over time.

What you can track

With Discord Analytics, you can track:

  • total human members
  • bot accounts
  • active members
  • inactive members
  • member join dates
  • total messages
  • monthly messages
  • rolling message activity
  • last message time
  • X / Twitter links shared in Discord
  • top posters
  • members with a tracked role
  • members who are no longer in the server
  • historical backfill jobs

Why it matters

Community activity can be hard to understand from Discord alone.

CollabOS helps workspace teams see:

  • which members are contributing
  • who has gone inactive
  • how active the community is over time
  • which members are sharing useful X links
  • which users may need cleanup or moderation
  • whether a role-based community segment is active
  • how message activity changes across days or months

Who can use it

Discord Analytics is available for Pro and Agency workspaces.

It is useful for:

  • web3 communities
  • collab teams
  • agencies
  • founders
  • community managers
  • partnership leads
  • Discord operators

Main workflow

A common workflow looks like this:

  1. 1.Add the CollabOS bot to your Discord server.
  2. 2.Connect your Discord server inside CollabOS.
  3. 3.Let CollabOS sync current server members.
  4. 4.Open the full Discord analytics page.
  5. 5.Track new messages automatically.
  6. 6.Run a message history backfill if older messages should be included.
  7. 7.Review charts, member activity, X links, exports, and moderation tools.

Setup page and full analytics page

The Community Analytics page inside the dashboard is used for setup.

After connecting a server, users can open the full analytics page.

The full analytics page gives more space for:

  • overview cards
  • charts
  • filters
  • member table
  • exports
  • backfills
  • moderation actions
  • recent X links

The full analytics page also includes a light / dark mode toggle so users can view the analytics page in their preferred theme.
