Community Admissions overview
Community Admissions helps private Discord communities accept and review new members without building a separate website.
A team can create a public application page, ask applicants to connect Discord, collect application answers, configure social tasks, generate an application post, open application batches, let current Discord members vote, and manage accepted applicants through an invite queue.
What Community Admissions helps you do
With Community Admissions, teams can:
- publish a public application page for a community
- let applicants apply without creating a normal CollabOS account
- verify applicants through Discord OAuth
- collect manual X username and profile information in the default process
- optionally require real X OAuth through Advanced X Verification
- add required or optional X/social tasks
- ask custom application questions
- generate an editable application post from the team’s saved template
- attach a unique application code to each generated post
- open fresh application batches with acceptance caps and dates
- lock submitted applications so they cannot change during voting
- let eligible current Discord members vote
- show or hide vote totals based on team settings
- review accepted applicants in an invite workflow
Default process and Advanced X
The default Community Admissions process is included with the normal feature. It uses Discord OAuth, manual X details, click-confirmed or team-confirmed X tasks, and Discord member voting without real X API verification.
Advanced X Verification is an optional paid add-on. When enabled, applicants and voters connect X through OAuth. Applicants complete required follow, like, and repost actions through separate CollabOS buttons, and each successful X response is stored before submission.
Plan access
Community Admissions is designed for active Pro and Agency workspaces. Advanced X Verification is billed separately from the normal workspace subscription.
