Set up your workspace
A workspace is the main operating environment for your team inside CollabOS. It is where your members, projects, deals, settings, branding, and public hiring presence all live.
Why the workspace matters
Your workspace is the foundation of how you use CollabOS. Inside a workspace, you can:
- invite team members
- assign roles
- create projects
- create deals
- manage follow-ups
- configure workspace branding
- set up public hiring
- manage workspace verification
To set up your workspace
- 1.Open the workspace selector.
- 2.Choose New Workspace.
- 3.Enter your workspace name.
- 4.Set your workspace slug.
- 5.Choose your workspace type.
- 6.Complete the creation flow.
Workspace types
CollabOS supports workspace types such as:
Community
Best for web3 communities, ecosystems, DAOs, and internal collab teams.
Agency
Best for service providers, collab agencies, and operator teams working across multiple client or partner relationships.
Optional setup during creation
Depending on your current flow, you may also be able to set:
- public hiring status
- hiring title
- hiring description
- website URL
- X / Twitter URL
- Discord URL
- Telegram URL
💡Best practices
- choose a workspace name that clearly reflects your team or brand
- use a clean slug that matches your public identity
- choose the correct workspace type from the start
- keep branding and hiring settings in mind if the workspace will be public
