Create your account
To start using CollabOS, create an account with your name, username, email, and password, or continue with Discord when Discord login is enabled.
After signup, verify your email if the app asks you to. Verification helps protect workspace access and keeps important notifications reliable.
Discord login and profile connection
Users can connect Discord from login, signup, or their profile. When an existing CollabOS user connects Discord from their profile, that Discord account becomes linked to the same CollabOS account.
After Discord is linked, the user can later sign back in with Continue with Discord instead of email and password. CollabOS should match the Discord user ID to the existing account so it does not create a duplicate account.
Discord avatar and username
When Discord is connected, CollabOS can store the Discord username, global name, avatar, and linked date. If the user does not already have a profile avatar, the Discord avatar can be used as their CollabOS avatar.
After creating your account, you can:
- create or join a workspace
- build your public profile
- manage projects and tracker rows
- invite team members
- connect Discord or Alphabot if your plan supports it
- update your display name from Settings
- connect Discord from My Profile for login and command permissions
