Default and Advanced X processes

Community Admissions supports two X-task processes.

Default / manual process

When Advanced X Process is OFF:

• applicants connect Discord
• applicants manually enter X username and profile URL when required
• X task buttons can auto-complete visually after a click
• applicants or the team can confirm task completion manually
• no real X API verification runs
• quote repost proof is a pasted X post link
• eligible Discord members can vote without connecting X

This process is included with the normal Community Admissions feature and is best for communities that want to keep costs low.

Advanced X process

When Advanced X Process is ON:

• applicants must connect Discord and X
• voting members must connect Discord and X
• manual X identity entry is replaced by the stored connected X identity
• visible applicant and voter identity can use the stored X profile picture, display name, and clickable username
• required follow, like, and repost tasks use separate user-initiated CollabOS action buttons
• each successful X action is stored immediately
• quote repost remains manual through a pasted link
• final submission checks the stored task results and makes no X task-scanning requests
• incomplete required actions block submission and list the missing tasks

Discord remains responsible for proving that a voter is a current community member. X connection adds identity and verified task completion; it does not replace Discord membership validation.
