Community Health, growth, and retention

Community Health extends the existing Discord analytics system with durable membership lifecycle data and health reporting.

Tracked membership events include:

• Join
• Leave
• Rejoin

Community Health can summarize:

• total members
• active members
• inactive members
• activity rate
• new joins
• rejoins
• leaves
• net growth
• 7-day retention when enough history exists
• 30-day retention when enough history exists
• message activity compared with the previous period
• voice activity compared with the previous period
• attention items such as message-activity drops, negative net growth, or incomplete retention history

Community alerts

The workspace can watch for:

• join spikes
• leave spikes
• message-activity drops

Alert thresholds, windows, cooldowns, target channel, and saved COMMUNITY_ALERT Message Builder template can be configured from the dashboard or /setup-community-alerts.

Scheduled reports

Community Health reports can be posted daily or weekly with a saved COMMUNITY_REPORT Message Builder template. The schedule uses the workspace timezone.
